Packing Materials

On this page you can purchase all the basic packing materials you would require when moving home. You can either pay & collect from us in Hove East Sussex, or if the order totals more than £50.00 (excluding vat), we shall deliver them for free as long as the delivery address in the BN postcode.

Please note we will contact you within 3 working days to arrange collection or delivery.

IMPORTANT:
Other sites on the web may offer great value packing boxes, but please ensure they are called “double walled” boxes. This means they are thicker, therefore stronger and safer which is what you need when placing your valuable items in them. Cheaper, “single walled” boxes may collapse when stacked on top of each other therefore crushing the contents.

All our boxes are brand new, double walled boxes.

As we buy our materials in bulk we are able to offer them at a discounted price.

Once purchased, these materials are yours to keep, and as the boxes are brand new, they are strong enough to be used again and again.

General Box 1

Size: 18” height x 18” width x 18” depth Per box: £1.50 + vat

These boxes are ideal for all general items. For anything heavier or more fragile, for example a collection of books or a collection of crockery, we recommend the General Box 2 below.

Size: 18” height x 12” width x 12” depth x 20" Per box: £1.25 + vat

These boxes are best suited for heavier, or more fragile items. For more general items, like a dvd player, accessories or clothes we recommend the General Box 1 above.

Wardrobe Boxes

Size: 48" height x 20" width x 20" depth Per box: £10 + vat

Wardrobe Boxes are specially designed with a rail inside to enable you to hang clothes which are not suitable to fold up like suits, coats and dresses. Each box will hang approximately 10 - 12 hanging garments.

Bubblewrap Small

Size: 300mm Per roll: £7 + vat

Bubblewrap is a lot more protective than sheets of paper. Ideal for almost anything you pack, and especially for pictures, mirrors and even televisions. This roll is ideal if you only have around 5-10 boxes to pack.

Bubblewrap Medium

Size: 500mm Per roll: £10 + vat

Bubblewrap is a lot more protective than sheets of paper. Ideal for almost anything you pack, and especially for pictures, mirrors and even televisions. This roll stands at about knee height, and is a tad wider than shoulder width.

Bubblewrap Large

Size: 750mm Per roll: £15 + vat

Bubblewrap is a lot more protective than sheets of paper. Ideal for almost anything you pack, and especially for pictures, mirrors and even televisions. This roll stands at about waist height, and is a tad wider than shoulder width.

Brown Tape

Per roll: £1.50 + vat

Used for taping the bubblewrap and/or boxes together.

Used to indicate boxes containg fragile items.
